What’s the difference between a cucumber and a zucchini?

Tiny Bumps

A cucumber has tiny bumps on it. You should feel tiny bumps on a cucumber, in fact when a cucumber is growing it's quite spiky. A zucchini doesn't have tiny bumps on itself.

Waxy Skin

A cucumber has waxy skin and feels smooth. A cucumber should feel like wax paper. A zucchini should feel firm and maybe rough.

Inside Color

The insides of a cucumber should be white. The insides of a zucchini has a yellowish tint.
